We recently sat down with a bunch of bands from the Stencil label to see how their year had gone. Life Underfoot were the next band we chatted to, and they’ve certainly had a successful 2018! Check out the details below…

How is 2018 treating you so far?
Good – We couldn’t have asked for a better year!
Have you released any music so far this year? If so, what can you tell us about that?
We released an EP called Peaks and Valleys. We recorded it back in April and released it in May.
Are you working on any new music at the moment? What are you working on, and when will it be released?
We actually just finished writing our next EP for early 2019. We’re definitely moving in the right direction in terms of our sound.
Have you got any upcoming tours planned? If so, where are you playing and where are you looking forward to going most?
We’re trying to set up a tour for March, hopefully around New York State.
Who/what has influenced you the most as musicians?
Brand New, Mineral, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, and Blink 182.
What have you been listening to recently that you can recommend to our readers?
Check out Mineral’s &Serenading album, it’s beautiful.
Why do you think people should pick up one of your records or come and see you live, and what can people expect from one of your shows?
Pick it up if you like new music or know anyone who does, it’s all free on our Bandcamp.
Any last words for the fans?
We hope everything is good and we hope to visit the UK soon!
