Patchwork Guilt, real name Phoenix Mundy, is a Bristol-based alternative pop rock multi-instrumentalist and producer who has caught my attention through her new single Dance Class. Inspired by classic acts like Talking Heads and Queen, it truly sets Phoenix out from the crowd.

Dance Class opens slow, deliberate and stripped back. It’s chilled arrangement is brought to life through Phoenix’s unique vocals and storytelling lyrics. Psychedelic rock mingles with bedroom pop to create something that isn’t truly either, but its own original concept. It is an utter joy to listen to.
Phoenix has been writing music in her bedroom since 2014, inspired by the likes of Lorde and Pink Floyd. If you’re looking for something new and exciting to listen to today, you need to check out Dance Class. You can listen to it below.
