Lesser Of The Worst is a beautiful folk song, characterised by a flowing fingerpicked acoustic guitar style that reminded me a lot of Dylan’s best work, which is high praise indeed! It’s stripped-down in the best way, with a gorgeous chord sequence working its way through the song, especially towards the end as it breaks down. The vocals have a raw quality that sounds really heartfelt, making this is one of my favourite songs of the year so far!
