Chargr describes himself as a ‘weird melodic lo-fi pop musician with excellent dance moves’ – whilst I’ve not seen his dance moves (yet!), this seems like an oddly apt description.

Glitterball is an electro-pop song with a suitably quirky sound, also reminding me very much of the 80s revival scene that’s so popular at the moment. Odd little distinctive synth melodies characterise this song so well, sounding almost like something out of a video game. Chargr’s vocals are fantastic, seeming soulful throughout, also having a mainstream pop quality that will appeal to those into their more commercial pop, despite the eccentric nature of the music. It’s certainly a unique sounding song!
