British singer-songwriter and musician Nathan Evans is a new discovery of mine, but I’m hoping he’ll become a star, as his music is simply that good!

Haul Away is his latest release, mixing together indie, pop and folk in a stylistic way. The rhythm is provided by the acoustic guitar, having a traditional folk feel. The vocals are incredibly soulful – the backing vocals on the chorus add an almost sea shanty quality to the music, adding yet another enticing element to Nathan’s amazing sound. It’s catchy, despite the simplicity of the music, showing that Nathan is a fantastic songwriter. Check out the next big thing below:
