I’m a big fan of the modern singer-songwriter movement, so I was very pleased to discover Andie Mechanic’s amazing music!

call it even is an indie-folk song, reminding me a little of Phoebe Bridgers’ music. It’s a stripped-down folk song, starting out with just a quiet piano melody, set against Andie’s vocals. The guitars are added later on, although they’re not overly prominent, allowing the soft piano and vocals to shine through. The vocal effects add a lot of layering to this beautiful piece of music – if that sounds good, check it out below!
