Kalulu, real name Marinka Stam, is a Rotterdam, Netherlands-based R&B and pop artist who has been releasing music since 2016. It’s only just now that she’s hitting our radar though, thanks to her moody new team up with Holyoke. It’s called Videodisks.

Videodisks is pop but not as we know it. Marinka brings such a fresh take on familiar concepts that her music almost feels like a new genre in itself. The track meanders between cool grooves and sudden stops, breakdowns and synth-filled moments. It’s a song that will always keep you guessing what will come next.
It’s the second release from Kalulu’s upcoming 2023 EP Featuring, in which Marinka will be joined by a gaggle of producers and friends. The EP is definitely an exciting prospect based on the evidence of Videodisks. You can check out the single below.
