South Africa is a nation we don’t often get to hear much music from, so I was very pleased to hear South African music producer Damien Sebe’s music.

serenade is a chill-hop/lo-fi piece of music, also working well as a study beat track. It’s extremely mellow, starting out with a somewhat jazzy clean guitar melody, as a steady hip-hop beat is added over time. The track doesn’t vary that much, instead continuing on with the main guitar line, but it works really well. The music is very relaxing as a whole, perfect for working or studying to.
