Skycabin are a duo based in California, USA. Their sound includes elements of electronica, R&B, and trip-hop but it doesn’t fit comfortably into a single genre. I think that’s what made me excited to share their music. Their latest is a dark and brooding tale of societal angst. It’s called Pyro.

A slow-burning, percussive intro eases into Pyro’s world before soulful vocals come in, telling a ghoulish story bathed in flame. Electronic bass enters, building the track’s pressure before it ignites into a cathartic climax. Pyro is truly a track that is incomparable to anything else I’ve heard.
