Because of David’s vast experience within the music industry, I had high hopes for his song Iceland, and I wasn’t disappointed! The track was written about the time he spent in the country, camping in the wilderness. He’s managed to capture the rural Icelandic vibe perfectly in this minimalist number. It’s a bit of a slow burner, building up as the song progresses. Strings and a number of quiet synth lines combine with some haunting vocal chanting to make something very special – find out for yourselves below!
