Within the first few seconds of hearing Van Arlo’s track Slow It Down, I just knew I had to share it, as it’s simply that good!

Slow It Down is something of a pop-rock song, but it also has some folky elements. The main chord progression sounds perfect, having a melancholy beauty to it. The emotion in Van’s voice only serves to enhance the haunting nature of the tune. The violin that appears on the second verse continues through the tune, echoing the sentiment in the vocals. This is a gorgeous tune and one you must hear now!
