Melyssa Lee is a very recent discovery of mine, and already I’ve shared her music several times! She’s released another fantastic new tune, titled Last Words.

Last Words is another stripped-down folk song, full of charm and gorgeous guitar melodies. It’s an acoustic track, seeing Melyssa sing along in lovely style to the luscious guitar lines. The subtle nature of the tune really allows the vocals to stand out. The themes are quite melancholy, with the lyrics being about somebody you love passing away. As such, it sounds really beautiful – from both a musical and lyrical point of view. If you’ve not checked Melyssa out yet, this is the perfect introduction!
