Indie-folk artist Wise John is back – this time he’s collaborating with vocalist Elise Trouw on a luscious new track, Atlanta.

Atlanta is a folk song with a definitive 70s feel, although John also adds in plenty of modern folk elements into the mix. Elise provides most of the vocals on this stunning duo, however the later parts of the track see John joining in too. It’s a really pretty sounding song, full of gorgeous acoustic guitars with even a hint of country slide guitar thrown in for good measure. Wise John is an artist that continues to surprise me (in a positive way), and with Atlanta, he shows himself to be an artist well worth your time.
