Sugar Nova first featured on this blog at the end of last year but this is already the third track of theirs I’m sharing. The alternative pop duo of Luke Miller and Rachel Eisenstat never fail to impress with their unique approach to pop and their latest single, a cover of My Morning Jacket’s Touch Me I’m Going To Scream, Pt. 2, is no exception.

Sugar Nova definitely put their own stamp on this track, giving it a minimal chill house flavour. Swapping the gender of the vocals gives it a whole different perspective too, emphasising the sexy nature of the lyrics. Perhaps most importantly, Sugar Nova’s version has an irresistible groove. Try not to move while listening!
