Latvian-German-American producer SIVO RAY first hit my radar in March of this year thanks to his darkly chill R&B track Remedy. Now he’s back with a new one. A homage to Nietzsche’s rope dancer, it’s called Dance.

Dance is a wonderful mix of pop, R&B, and experimental elements to create something quite unlike anything I’ve heard before. There’s a commercially-popular style about it, but also layers of hidden depth that sets it aside from most of what you’ll hear on the radio.
Originally from Riga, Latvia, SIVO RAY currently lives in Bielefeld and Berlin, Germany. With musical heroes that include Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, he’s certainly bringing something new to the world of pop.
