Valen Eslava is a Venezuela-based artist who has just come to my attention thanks to her second release from her new album August Sun. A ballad about a long distance relationship it’s called Too Many Miles.

If you’ve ever been away from a loved one, then you’re going to relate to Too Many Miles. Valen beautifully captures the emotion of the track’s story with her charismatic vocals and a sweeping, cinematic pop arrangement that hits a stunning high during its singalong chorus.
A singer from an early age, Valen featured on the TV show La Academia CEA when she was twelve, winning second place. Outside of music, she has a passion for journalism, which she studied at university. Her debut album is out now in all the usual places and you can check out Too Many Miles below.
