If you like your minimalist indie-folk music, then American singer-songwriter anica is well worth checking out!

in the dark is quite a minimalist piece of music, but it’s absolutely beautiful as it is, so it really doesn’t need anything more! The main instrumentation is provided by a haunting, fingerpicked acoustic guitar melody, adding a subtle beauty into the piece. anica also has a lovely voice – it’s pretty understated at times, but it really suits the melancholic themes and sound of the track, making everything seem perfect to my ears. in the dark is a brilliant piece of music, and I cannot wait to hear more from anica in the near future!
