Video: Madison Beer – Make You Mine

I’m no stranger to the irresistible pop of American singer songwriter Madison Beer. While she burst onto the international scene through her debut album Life Support in 2021, she was on our radar way back in 2018. Since then her career has gone from strength to strength, and now she’s preparing to head off on a 52-date tour which includes a stop at nearby Leeds.

Madison’s latest single release is Make You Mine, marking the start of her post Silence Between Songs-era, her second album which was released last year. It’s pleasing to see that she hasn’t lost any of the things that have been working for her, while also giving us something new. The track is beautifully sultry, and Madison’s vocals are as captivating as always. What we also get is a brooding dance beat and textured electronica.

Her Spinnin’ Tour starts later this month and arrives at our shores on 22 March. She’ll be coming to the O2 Academy in Leeds on 28 March and it may well be the last chance to see her play such an intimate venue. I have no doubt she’ll be filling arenas very soon.
