It’s not often that we get to hear new music from Norway, so I was very excited to discover Petter Richardson!

Petter is a Norwegian composer and pianist, specialising in a form of neoclassical music. Farvel is an entirely piano-based piece, showing off exactly how talented Petter is at performing and composing his music. It actually sounds like several different pianos playing at once, making for a sound that truly envelops the listener with beauty. The main melody changes slightly as the piece progresses, working its way into something beautiful – why not give it a go below?
