Holy Høly are a recent discovery of ours, featuring on these pages earlier this month with their track Common. NUN are new to us, but have been lighting up the Polish electro scene for decades.
Their new collaboration From The Ashes is a sultry, moody number that’s as bluesy as it is bass-y. Ewa’s vocals are perfectly soulful as they deliver pleading lyrics before things build into a Portishead-esque trip-hop arrangement, expertly crafted by Olaf.
From The Ashes will feature on NUN’s upcoming album Escape From The Forest, a collection of collaborations. The single is out now and you can check out its video below.
