Flo is a side project curated by Belgium guitarist Florian De Schepper, showing his guitar skills off in style on Kreta.

Flo is primarily a classical guitarist, an avenue I haven’t delved into too much in the past. Kreta is an almost entirely instrumental piece that was written on the island of Crete, hence the title. The track starts out slowly, before Flo speeds the tempo up, with several guitar layers crossing over one another in a glorious way here. Towards the end, there are some faint backing vocals, but the guitar remains the main focus of the tune, played with great dexterity and feeling.
