I’ve never been a massive fan of pop, but when a good song comes along, I can’t help but share it!

WDYW is a pop song of sorts, although it also has elements of soul, r&b and the blues, making for a really cool mix of sounds. There’s something about Thatillaguys’s sound that harks back to the retro era of soul music, with a modern twist thrown in. The guitar licks are awesome but they’re never overstated, adding a nice tone to the tune amongst the rhythm section and piano. The vocals are largely sung, belted out on the chorus, but the bridge includes a surprising rapping section, showing WDYW is one must listen track!
