Minimum Wage set their crosshairs on abuses of power with new single, Under The Influence.

Minimum Wage are a London-based alternative rock four-piece consisting of Will Burton, Adrian D’Alessandro, Jack Scanlon, and Charlie Southard. Their sound is influenced by the rock scene of the 2000s, including Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182, and Muse, as well as jazz, funk, pop and metal.
Their new single Under The Influence is about the double standards of those in power, expecting their people to behave a certain way while doing the opposite themselves. We get an instant sense of having had enough from the track. The vocals alternate between weary and rage-filled while the instrumental bristles with edgy punk rock. The track plays with tempo nicely as it progresses, and a fist-raising chorus is a highlight.
Minimum Wage’s debut album Modern Misery is set for release this summer. Under The Influence is out now via Cwtch Records and you can check it out below.
