Nerina Pallot is an artist who needs no introduction. An Ivor and Brit Award winner, she’s been going strong since 2001. Her latest single is called Regrets.

Here at York Calling, we’ve been keeping up with her music since 2021, catching her performing live at the National Centre for Early Music twice. The charm of her live performances always translates well into her recorded music, and new single Regrets is no exception.
A strong and soulful number, we get straight into it with a catchy chorus and lively piano melody. Nerina’s vocals are beautifully powerful and passionate throughout, and are made more so when paired with a gospel choir. Wistfulness combines with catharsis expertly.
Regrets is taken from Nerina’s eight studio album, set for release in November 2024. A UK tour will follow.
