An unexpected fusion of country, hip-hop and cubist painters like Picasso, We’re Winning and Winning Big is simply a must listen track courtesy of the Rick Lee Vinson Group.

Hailing from Las Vegas and Nashville, USA, Rick Lee Vinson Group consists of Chris on keys, Jonah on guitars, and Mike on vocals. As well as drawing influence from the work of Picasso, they are inspired by classic songwriters like Bob Dylan and Tom Petty.
There’s a sense of originality that runs through We’re Winning and Winning Big that made me want to share it. It’s country rock, but not at all what you’d expect from the genre. The story of its lyrics feels like a classic song about love and heartbreak, but it manages to swerve the cliches. Just as you think you’re getting used to its composition, things twist and turn delightfully.
