Miami, USA-based alternative rock up-and-comers Palomino Blond feature on our blog for the first time with their extensive new album, You Feel It Too.

Sprawling across eleven track and 43 minutes, You Feel It Too is an ambitious project that acts as the perfect showcase for Palomino Blond, especially for those of us who haven’t heard their work before.
Consisting of Carli Acosta on guitar and lead vocals, Emma Arevalo on drums and vocals, and Peter Allen on guitar, the trio have released two albums to date. With a cemented reputation on the local house show circuit, it feels about the right time for the band to be expanding their audience internationally.
You Feel It Too has enough packed in it to show us the range of styles that Palomino Blond have to offer, from dreamy shoegaze to raw rock. Album opener Plain View gets things going in soaring and bittersweet style. Bright guitar chords contrast melancholic vocals in a strong opening gambit.
Machine proves an early highlight with its homage to ’90s grunge, as does the smouldering Understand. Left sits at the heart of the album, giving us a raucous injection of energy. Supergalore is a wonderfully expansive effort that makes great use of loud-quiet. Things are rounded off by the cantering indie rock of How Could This Be and a delicate, acoustic reprise of Last Forever.
Palomino Blond have a distinctive sound that those who love their rock on the introspective side will love. They know how to mix things up just at the right time to keep things interesting throughout their new album, and there are moments that will give you goosebumps.
You Feel It Too was produced by Palomino Blond with engineering from Ryan Haft, Jonathan Nuñez, and the band. It was mastered by Dan Coutant. The album is out now, available to buy as a digital album, on vinyl or on cassette via Bandcamp. You can give it a listen below.
