The Stolen Moans are defiant with spooky new single

Morning Scars is the experimental new rock anthem from Transatlantic act, The Stolen Moans.

By Graeme Smith

The track has been released to coincide with spooky season but the horror it confronts is not of the supernatural. Rather, it casts an eye on the upcoming US elections and women’s ongoing fight for their eroding rights. It encourages all its listeners to stand up for what’s theirs through an atmospheric arrangement that brings together post-punk with Celtic harp. Vocal harmonies are haunting during an eerie intro before things become soaring in the chorus.

First appearing on our blog over the summer through their singalong single Bard-Inspired, Treachery, Chaos & Heartbreak, The Stolen Moans are a Los Angeles, USA and Dublin, Ireland-based trio of Vivian, Chane and Eric who are fast becoming favourites of ours.

Morning Scars is out now and you can give it a listen below.
