Bad Flamingo’s sound is as unique as their style and I always get excited by their new music. Three of their singles have featured on these pages before, giving us blues, country pop and alternative in equal measures.
Their latest The Devil Knows is a slow-burning number that haunts. Expressive vocals take on a pleading yet resolved quality during a storytelling first verse before the chorus brings the drama. As the track progresses, its instrumental becomes more nuanced and its atmosphere is never lost.
