Cellarscape, the project of composer and songwriter Paul Terry, previously featured on this blog through his live EP Live at Siren FM.
Paul’s latest release Out Of My Hands originally featured on Cellarscape’s 2014 album The Act Of Letting Go. A previously unreleased Beach Club Cut sees it go indie pop rock. A bright and hypnotic instrumental starts the track off before Paul’s expressive vocals come in. They deliver emotional storytelling, ever backed by raw and jangly guitar. A pleading chorus proves the icing on the cake.
The track celebrates Paul’s 25th year as a composer and songwriter and his indie label SkyBabyRecords. It acts as the lead single for the upcoming compilation album, SkyBabyRecords Est. 1999 – A 25th Anniversary Celebration, set for release 15 November 2024. The compilation will also include songs from Paul’s Aptøsrs project which has also featured on our pages.
Out of My Hand (The Beach Club Cut) is out now and you can give it a listen below.
