American folk duo Skout have been slowly making waves in the international music market – I can see them becoming huge if What If Wanting’s Not Enough is anything to go by!

First things first – the production quality on What If Wanting’s Not Enough sounds perfect throughout, highlighting the pretty vocals and gorgeous fingerpicked guitar notes well. Skout make a type of folk music that is somewhat reminiscent of Phoebe Bridger’s music, although it’s different enough to stand on its own two feet, so there’s no need to worry about it sounding samey at all. The orchestral moments in the background are subtly laid, but they really work wonders, adding a lovely melody behind the soaring vocals. You have to check this song out!
