Hailing from San Francisco and Salt Lake City, USA, Moth Tax are the latest punk and new wave project to grace our pages.

It’s through their single Open Up a Pig that we’ve discovered them, a track with a beautifully surreal title to match the visceral storytelling in its lyrics. They’re compellingly delivered through the attitude-laden vocals while the instrumental keeps tensions high throughout.
Moth Tax are flying under the radar at the moment, but I reckon they’ve got what they need to make in-roads in the international world of punk. I’ll be keeping an eye on them.
