Teaming up with producer ILoveYouApollo, G SHOCK is the latest single from Toronto, Canada-based hip-hop artist Rayhan.

With a sharp instrumental edge and even edgier lyrics, G SHOCK combines rhythmic verses with darkly atmospheric samples. A fire smoulders through everything, threatening to explode at any moment as Rayhan calls out haters and life’s obstacles. It’s all over in two and a half minutes but will stay with you.
We’re obviously fans of Rayhan here at York Calling, having shared his music several times now. ILoveYouApollo is new to us but has worked with Rayhan before on their track No Tomorrow. The producer has a debut album on the way, FOREVERMORE, coming soon.
Rayhan’s debut album, uLove, is set for release 22 June 2025.
