Caleb L’Etoile gets raw for visceral new single

AW HELL is the raw and immediate new track from Virginia, USA-based artist and producer, Caleb L’Etoile.

By Graeme Smith

With a cantering tempo and an atmospheric, country-esque instrumental, AW HELL is the kind of track that transports you while demanding you move your hips. It’s quite the first impression, and the deal is sealed by the charismatic, Jake Bugg-like vocals. The lyrics are visceral in the verse and things become resigned during an impactful, memorable chorus. They speak of losing faith with the world around oneself, full of a kind of relatable bitterness.

The rawness of the track was achieved through the fact that it was written, recorded and produced it in about eight hours meaning we get an immediate connection between the feelings that inspired it and the final product.

Caleb L’Etoile’s upcoming album, American Death, is set for release 20 June 2025.
