The Rochester, USA-based artist is new to us, and I strongly suspect this won’t be the last we hear from her. Hatchet is a track that demands attention through its immediate darkness. Moody bass beats meet spooky atmospheric undertones before Neeve’s attitude-laden lyrics come in. They don’t spare any blushes during a slowly seductive verse before the hook lands you.
Neeve Rose’s new track feels like perfectly modern and shows us plenty of her unique personality. It’s a must listen.
