Charlie Worsham Announces York Show to Celebrate Album Release

Award-winning Nashville musician Charlie Worsham heads to York this month for a headline performance at FortyFive Vinyl Café as he celebrates the release of his new album Once Upon A Second Time Around, due out on 7 August.

Although he may be one of country music’s best-kept secrets, Worsham has spent years helping shape the genre from behind the scenes. A two-time ACM Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year and CMA Musician of the Year, he has worked alongside artists including Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood and Kacey Musgraves, while also writing songs recorded by Luke Combs and Kenny Chesney.

His latest album showcases the full breadth of his musical influences, blending contemporary country, bluegrass, classic songwriting and virtuosic musicianship. Featuring collaborations with Lainey Wilson and Stephen Wilson Jr, the record highlights a performer stepping confidently into the spotlight after spending much of his career as one of Nashville’s most respected collaborators.

The intimate York show offers a rare opportunity to experience one of modern country music’s most accomplished musicians in a close-up setting before he continues his UK run.

Charlie Worsham will play at FortyFive Vinyl Café, York on Thursday 13 August 2026.
