Released via Fiction Records, the record has earned widespread praise for its ambitious songwriting, emotional range and fearless blend of art-punk energy with expansive melodic hooks.

Still only a few years removed from forming as teenagers, the six-piece have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting new bands. Following sold out tours, appearances at SXSW and a string of festival performances across Europe, Cannonball arrives as the culmination of years spent building a reputation for inventive songwriting and explosive live shows. Recent singles including Adam & Steve, Nosedive and Get Up & Dance have all received strong support from BBC 6 Music, helping propel the band to an even wider audience.

The Leeds date is already sold out, highlighting the growing demand surrounding a group whose sound balances theatrical ambition with genuine emotional honesty. With material from Cannonball now making its way to the stage, audiences can expect a set packed with soaring choruses, dynamic shifts and the unpredictable energy that has made Man/Woman/Chainsaw one of the most talked-about new bands in British music.

Man/Woman/Chainsaw will play at Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
