Yard Act return to their hometown on Friday 6 November, headlining O2 Academy Leeds as part of their first proper UK tour since August 2024.

It’s a homecoming in the fullest sense for a band that’s grown from BBC Introducing Stage beginnings into one of the city’s most vital post-punk exports.
The show follows a run of dates that closed out touring for second album Where’s My Utopia? — a record that shifted the band’s sound into more playful, technicolour territory, complete with dancing backing singers and an expanded live setup that reshaped how the band operate on stage. Since then, Yard Act have kept moving: European and UK dates supporting The Hives, an intimate one-off at Blackpool Tower, and a lengthy studio stretch that the band are teasing as “Act III.”
The Leeds show sits alongside new dates in Manchester and London, marking the group’s first substantial headline run in over two years. For a band that broke through with the acerbic wit of debut album The Overload before deliberately upending expectations on its follow-up, this tour offers a first proper look at where they go next.
