High Heels On manages to combine pop, country and rock together in fantastic fashion, showing a band that can combine catchy melodies together with a rock and roll swagger. The main melody is addictive and there’s a real anthemic sound to the chorus. There is also something of a feminist feel to the song, which is quite rare in the country music world, so it’s great to hear a band trying something new.
