When You Need Me opens with a gorgeous flowing acoustic guitar melody, as a beautiful double bass/cello section runs in the background, adding a lovely flavour to the music. The music itself sounds great, but it’s on Maya’s vocals that the track truly shines through – they’re soft yet powerful, sounding perfect throughout the entirety of this haunting song.
