West End Road is a new release from an American act that I’ve somehow not listened to before, titled Circus Mind.

West End Road is a rock song of sorts, although it also has elements of ska, soul, r&b and Motown present, harking back to the classic days of the 60s and 70s. The brass instrumentation makes the entire thing sound groovy, especially when mixed with the upbeat rhythm, jazzy piano lines and the gospel choir in the background. It sounds really different compared to the stuff you usually hear in the charts!
