BRIT Award-winning, multi-platinum selling musician George Ezra closed the 2022 season at Scarborough Open Air Theatre with a sell-out show.

One of the UK’s most acclaimed songwriters and live performers, Ezra performed a 90- minute set. He opened with Anyone For You (Tiger Lily) from most recent album Gold Rush Kid and followed with a string of crowd favourites including Cassy O, Get Away, Pretty Shining People, Barcelona, Green Green Grass, Paradise and Budapest before closing with number 1 hit Shotgun.

South African three-piece Beatenberg opened the show.

The gig marked the end of the 2022 season which has seen the biggest ever year at the UK’s biggest purpose-built outdoor arena with headliner shows from the Sam Fender, Christina Aguilera, Elbow, Westlife, Jane McDonald, Crowded House, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, Bryan Adams, a-ha, The Script, Simply Red, Tom Jones and RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World.
