T.I.G.Y. have featured on the blog a couple of times now, most recently through their dreamy cover of Miike Snow’s Animal. Now they’re back with another cover, this time paying tribute to LCD Soundsystem. Here’s their unique take on Someone Great.

For this rendition, the duo are joined by Bristol-born, London-based artist B. Weaver and it was their collective love of the track that made them want to cover it. It’s a stripped-back and folky version. The vocal harmonies are charming and the emotion of the lyrics come through strongly.
