Finland’s moshimoshi first caught my attention last year through their debut EP Moshimoshi I but it’s been awhile since we shared anything from the Helsinki-based rock outfit. I’m pleased to say they’re now back on the blog courtesy of their new single Soon.

Soon was written about the same time as the tracks on Moshimoshi I so has a similar feel to it. Looping math rock elements meet screamed vocals in a composition that fans of classic emo rock will appreciate. In true punk fashion, the story is short and bittersweet, all wrapping up in just over two minutes.
A stalwart of the band’s live set, long-time fans will appreciate the track finally being released, but no doubt it will gain moshimoshi some new fans too. You can give Soon a listen below.
