Rasmus Nelausen is a Danish singer songwriter who released his debut album in 2020 but has only just hit our radar. Diorama is the first single from his forthcoming second album of the same name and it’s caught my attention for all the right reasons.

Rasmus’s sound is probably best described as alternative pop but the label doesn’t quite encapsulate the subtleties of Diorama. There’s some gentle electronica in there, rubbing shoulders with folk elements in the lyrics and vocal delivery. It’s a heady and beautiful mix, and one that will envelope you while soothing your soul.
The album Diorama is set for release May next year and, based on the evidence of this single, it’ll be one not to miss. While we wait, you can check out the single below.
