Nyrup, Denmark-based singer songwriter Rasmus Nelausen first came to my attention at the back of last year thanks to his single Diorama. Recollections is the follow up, perfectly-timed with its January release as it explores looking both forwards and backwards at the same time.

Recollections dives straight in with Rasmus’s smooth and emotive vocals and nostalgic lyrics. Its story plays out against a dreamy backdrop of electronic folk and gentle rock energies. It’s a song that will have you feeling and reminiscing along with every note.

The track will feature on Rasmus’s second studio album, set for release this May. The album promises more soundscapes, more emotion and more experimentation. I can’t wait to hear it!
