Ainsley Costello is a teenage pop punk singer songwriter based in Nashville, USA. Taking her cues from the likes of Hayley Williams and Pink, she rounded off last year with her fifth single of the year. It’s called Cherry On Top.

Ainsley is bringing a rock edge to her own brand of pop. Cherry On Top is a study of loud/quiet, with vibrant, riff-filled chorus and stripped-back acoustic verses that keep things fresh while showcasing Ainsley’s charming vocals. Yet, what I enjoyed the most is the story in its lyrics, which serves up heaps of cold revenge.
