I first discovered British singer-songwriter and musician Tommy Ashby back in August of this year, so it’s wonderful to hear more music from him.

Lifeline is another stripped-down folk song, having elements of both the traditional and modern folk genres. Tommy’s vocals are soft and sweet, with the lyrics having a gorgeous nature to them. The guitar melodies are a little faint, but they suit Tommy’s voice well, underpinning his heartfelt lyrics well. Lifeline is a really gorgeous tune and one that simply demands your attention – you can find it here:
