It’s definitely a folk song, having a slow, stripped-down nature that sounds utterly beautiful throughout. Tommy’s vocals are quite soft, but this quality makes them stand out from the crowd, performing well alongside the pretty, fingerpicked acoustic guitar melodies that make up most of the instrumentation for this piece.
