I’m a sucker for anything with an acoustic guitar, so of course, I was very intrigued to hear New Zealand musician Chris Bates’ music.

Tired Of This is an acoustic number that is as poppy as it is folky, bridging the gap between the two genres. The vocals utilise a lot of autotune, which I’m not normally a fan of, but it’s used very stylistically here! There’s a lot of emotion within the vocals and the lyrics also work really well with the musical themes of the song. The beat gives the music a bit more of a rhythm, floating through the track in a wonderful way. You can find it here:
