Average is the kind of track that’ll make you want to dance straight from the off. It’s bright indie pop with an emotive sting. The expressive vocals of Rhiannon Stephenson rule the verses while the band come together to create an explosive and memorable chorus. It’s simply a joy that will find fans in pop and rock lovers alike.
Long Island’s debut album infatuation’s a nightmare is set for release next month and you’ll be able to catch the band live at Northern Quarter in Huddersfield for its launch party on 14 January. You can give average a listen below.
